Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
EarnDesk ("we", "us") operates earndesk.io. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@earndesk.io.
What we collect
If you just read the site
We run Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you. It records page views, referrer, rough country and device type in aggregate. There is no way for us to single you out from it.
If you accept cookies
With your consent we load Google Analytics, the Google Ads remarketing tag and the X (Twitter) pixel. These set cookies and let us measure how the site is used and show you EarnDesk adverts elsewhere. See our cookie policy for the detail.
If you subscribe to the newsletter
We collect your email address and store it with our newsletter provider. We use it only to send the EarnDesk digest. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
If you email us
We keep the correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
What we never collect
We do not ask for, receive or store financial information, wallet addresses, account credentials or identity documents. EarnDesk never touches your money — when you follow a link you deal with that provider directly, under their terms and their privacy policy.
Why we are allowed to use it
- Consent — analytics and advertising cookies, and the newsletter. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests — cookieless aggregate analytics, and keeping the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that run the site: our hosting and analytics provider (Cloudflare), our newsletter provider, our consent management provider, and — if you have consented — Google and X for advertising. We do not sell personal data, and never have.
Some of these providers are outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Analytics data: as configured with the provider, and no longer than 14 months for consented analytics.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Emails: up to two years after our last exchange.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email info@earndesk.io and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
